Cooper's brown mare, Flair, by St. Frusquin-Glare bought by Mr. F.C. Stern for 15,000 Guineas.- This price, which included a colt-foal by Gallinule, was a record one for the Newmarket Sale ring, the previous best being 12,600 gns. for La Fleche. d- The Late Sir D. Cooper's chestnut mare, Edmee, by Juggler-Pink Pearl, bought by Mr. G.S. Davies for 6,400 gns. e- The Late Mr. Douglas Baird's bay mare, Sesame, by St. Simon-Maize, bought by Mr. G. Mueller for 2,700 gns. f- The Late Mr. Douglas Baird's bay mare, Lily of the Valley, by Martigon-Hamptonia, bought by Mr. W.M.G. Singer for 3,700 gns. g- The Late Mr. D. Cooper's bay mare, Concertina, by St. Simon-Comic Song, bought by Mr. F. Stern for 2,800 gns. h- The late Mr. Douglas Baird's bay mare Musa, by Martagon-Palmflower, bought by M. Cheri Halbronn for 4,000 gns.
