"Smith" at the Comedy Theatre. 1909

For Sale is a Front Page from the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News October 30th 1909, showing the following Photographs from "Smith" at the Comedy Theatre.
a- The Courtship of Smith (Miss Lohr) by the flat porter (Mr. Percy Goodyer), who is doomed to be cut out by Smith's mistress's brother Tom.
b- The more subtle courtship of Smith by Tom Freeman (Mr. Robert Loraine), who marries her in preference to a powdered bridge-player of his own class.
c- Tom Freeman (Mr. Robert Loraine). Rose Dallas-Baker (Miss Kate Cutler). Algy Peppercorn (Mr. A.E. Matthews). Smith (Miss Marie Lohr). Rose unfeelingly dismisses Smith on hearing that her brother Tom has proposed marriage to her.
