For Sale is a Full Page Drawing by Fred Pegram taken from "The Sphere," March 23rd, 1901, showing "The English Versus Irish Hockey Match at Richmond."

The match, which was of an international character, took place at Richmond on March 11, when a team of English Ladies defeated a team of Ladies representing Ireland. The visitors were rather outclassed by the home contingent, who at half-time led by two goals to nil. On changing ends the Irish Ladies played in improved form, and after the scores had stood at - England 3 goals, Ireland none, the Irish side notched a point, the game ending in favour of England by three goals to one.
