For Sale is a Full Page Drawing taken from "The Sphere," June 22nd, 1907, of "The Memorial of the Late Duke of Cambridge : Unveiled by the King in Whitehall." Artist- Arthur Garratt.
The Statue of the Late Duke of Cambridge was unveiled in Whitehall by the king on Saturday. The Statue, which is the work of Captain Adrian Jones, weighs 5 tons, and the pedestal, designed by Mr. Belcher, is of Dartmoor Granite. The monument stands between the War Office (seen on the right) and the Horse Guards (on the left), in both of which the Duke was immensely interested. Mr. Garratt has designed this picture so as to bring into striking relief these appropriate elements in the site.
