Reverse side shows the following "Two Famous Royal Progresses Through London," Described by Contemporary Poets.

     a- The Progress of Henry V. Through London, 1415.
This Poem was written by John Lydgate (1370-1461) on the occasion of the gorgeous entry of Henry V. into London on November 23, 1415, when he offered thanks at St. Paul's and Westminster for his victory at Agincourt, where he defeated 60,000 of the French with an army of 9,000. Henry was just eight-and twenty at the time.
      b- The Visit of James 1. to St. Paul's, 1620.
This old ballad was written on the occasion of the visit of James I. and his Queen to St. Paul's Cathedral on March 26, 1620. The Cathedral was in a sad state of decay, and many petitions were presented to his Majesty to put it right. Hence his visit. The Bishop of London preached the sermon.
