The Cruiser, "Guichen," which bore the President across the Channel on Monday was accompanied to Dover by the "Harpon" and the "Escopette." The British Fleet assembled at Dover consisted of seven Battleships ("Revenge," "Royal Sovereign," "Royal Oak," "Hood," "Empress of India," "Sans Pareil," and "Anson"), ten Cruisers ("Good Hope," "Drake," "Hawke," "Edgar," "Minerva," "Dido," "Venus," "Brilliant," "Rainbow," and "Mersey,"), and eight torpedo-boat destroyers.
