On the Riviera, new outlines first appear, Fluted skirts are permissible, but their must be subtlety to their cut. Galon is favoured for jumper suits in wool or silk. Coats are outlined inside with dainty pleatings or lines of braid, and for the afternoon, satin once again holds its own when given a scarf attachment, and a new cut to the narrow bands of self material.
