For Sale is a Full Page from "The Graphic, June 25th, 1898," showing a Drawing by Ralph Peacock, called "The First Season : The Joys of London Life."

At the doors of the confectioners' shops in Regent Street, and other throughfares in the West End celebrated for fine shops, may be seen any afternoon in the season little knots of footmen and pages waiting for their mistresses, who are enjoying tea inside. The young lads, fresh from the country, gaze with the greatest wonder and delight at the wonders of the pastry cook's art in the windows, and form a great contrast to the older servants, whose air is that of boredom rather than anything else.
