After receiving Lord Kitchener and the Prime Minister at the Palace, the King went to the Royal Academy, staying there from 3.30 until nearly 5 o'clock.  He was accompanied by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Princes Edward and Albert and other members of the Royal Family.  They were taken round by Sir Edward Poynter, P.R.A., and members of the Council.  This picture represents His Majesty looking at his own portrait painted by Sir E. Poynter.

Condition is Very Good.
