Stuck in the Mud.- A Ski-runner to the Rescue. 1912.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, July 13th, 1912," showing a Drawing by C. Fleming-Williams, called "Stuck in the Mud.- A Ski-runner to the Rescue."

Recently several boat loads of people got caught in the Mud between Osea island, in the Blackwater, and the Mainland, and as the mud is too soft to walk on they had perforce to remain there for five or six hours till the tide returned. Our artist, who lives in the district, saw their plight, and donning his Skis, which he uses with perfect success on the mud, filled his rucksack with provisions and skied off to them.  As it was then three o'clock, and the mud-captives had had nothing to eat since breakfast, he was regarded as a very good Samaritan on skis.

Condition is Very Good.
