    a- Rebecca Rowena Randall (Miss Edith Taliaferro) arrives to live with her aunts at the Brick House, State of Maine.  On the way the captivating fairy has already stolen the heart of the stage driver, Jeramiah Cobb (Mr. Archie Boyd).
    b- Adam Ladd ("Mr. Aladdin") tells Rebecca that she will grow up, meaning that he will wait for her until the time when she will be a woman.
    c- Rebecca is selling Excelsior soap in order to befriend a starving family, and her first customer, whom she calls Mr. Aladdin (Mr. Hayward Ginn), is so taken with the charms of the little saleawoman that he buys out her whole stock of 300 tablets.
    d- Rebecca's efforts to please have finally overcome her greatest obstacle, the grim austerity of that maiden aunt, Miranda Sawyer (Miss Marie L. Day), who, while sacrificing herself for the child's education, was always prevented by her acid exterior from showing her real feelings.
