                            The Twice-Run Great Metropolitan Stakes.
1- Major J. D. Edwards' Wavelet's Pride finishes first in the first race, in which only two horses kept the right course.
2- F. Hardy, rider of the winner.
3- In the second race Wavelet's Pride again finishes first, closely followed by Parody, Florinda, and Short Circuit.
4- C. Trigg, who rode Parody. He first finished fifth and claimed the race. Parody finished second in the second running.

                         The City and Suburban Handicap.- A French Victory.
5- M. Ephrussi's Brambilla, by Juggler-Brambling, the winner.
6- Brambilla (Thompson up) returning to scale.
7- The Finish.- Brambilla winning from Valenza and Over Norton.
