The International Six-Metre Races.- The British Competitors. 1921.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, August 6th, 1921," showing the Following 4 Photographs for "The International Six-Metre Races.- The British Competitors."

1- Mr. B. J. Gould's Polly (Designed by Fife).
2- The Hon. Sir John Ward's Jean (Designed by Nicholson).
3- Sir W. P. Burton and Sir Godfrey Collins's Victoria (Designed by Mylne).
4- Mr. Evelyn S. Parker's Flya (Designed by Fife).

These 6 metre races- U.S.A. v. British Isles- were the outcome of a suggestion by U.S.A.  as neither country then has any such boats built, both nations started on equal terms. The contests are in course of decision this week at Cowes.  After the eliminating trials the above four boats were chosen to represent the British Isles, while Messrs. Maudslay and Westray's Mylne-designed boat Freesia was reserve.  Next year the contest takes place in American Waters.
