"Saturday to Monday " at the St. James's Theatre. 1904.

For Sale is a Full Page Drawing removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, April 23rd, 1904," called "Saturday to Monday" at the St. James's Theatre."

Lady Diana is returning after falling into the river.  She, Miss Toop and Miss Skeat, have been sent by Lord Culvert to meet his cousin Probyn, on the river.  Lord Culvert has, for a joke, proposed to all these ladies, and afterwards insists he was speaking for Probyn.  The rendexvous on the river is all an invention of Lord Culvert's, and the ladies return furious with Probyn.  The scene represents the meeting of Probyn and Lady Diana.  Miss Toop and Miss Skeat are in the background.
