   a- E. H. Montague (S.L.H.) easily wins the half-mile from M. Soalhat in 2min 4-5 sec.
   b- The Hurdle Race, won by H. P. Philips (S.L.H.).- The French runner, Klingelhoefer, fell at the last hurdle, spoiling a good finish.
   c- A. Shrubb wins the Three Miles by 430 yards, having previously won the Mile.
   d- The only French victory.- M. Soalhat leaves Spencer in the run-in and wins the 1,000 Yards Steeplechase.
   e- A French Colony at Stamford Bridge.- The visitors' group in the centre of the ground.
   f- J. B. Densham (S.L.H.), after a great struggle with Bellin du Coteau, wins the Quarter in 53 3-5 secs.
   g- The view from the grand stand during the Three Miles, in which Shrubb nearly lapped the second man.
