The Brook. 1877.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, December 22nd, 1877," showing a Drawing by J. Sturgess called "The Brook."

                 Their were many came down to the banks of the brook
                 Came down with a rush - not to leap but to look;
                 There were horsemen who took to the water like rats,
                 There were steeds without riders and men without hats.

Condition is Very Good, with a few light foxing spots in the bottom right corner margin.
