Nerves and the Turks. 1915.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, August 28th, 1915," showing a Drawing by Arthur J. Burgess called "Nerves and the Turks."

Owing to their successful operations in the Sea of Marmosa, the British submarines have got on the Turks' nerves to such an extent that every porpoise showing itself is subjected to heavy fire, under the impression that it is a British Submarine.  The Germans are said to be using the ruse of changing the number of their submarines in order to give the Turks the impression that there are several of these German craft in Turkish waters.
