   a- Sir Hubert comes to announce that Lady Ware's brother, who has been bathing in the Lake, is missing.  The bankrupt Sir Hubert has himelf drowned him to get the benefit of the young man's fortune, which will descend to Lady Ware.
   b- The trial of Sir Hubert Ware for the murder of his brother-in-Law.  The prisoner, whi is in the witness box, is being questioned by the prosecuting  counsel (Mr. Sydney Valentine(. by the prosecuting counsel is Mr. Norman McKinnel,  and the judge Mr, J. Fisher-white.
   c- Sir Hubert Ware, although acquitted by the jury, confesses his crime and ends his wretched career by taking poison, thus making the way clear for the marraige of his wife and her admirer. Michael Adye, K,C. (Miss Marie Lohr, Mr Gerald du Maurier, and Mr. Norman Mckinnel).
d- Mr. Wilfred Fletcher as Lady Ware's brother, the objectionable Eustace Ede, who is the murderer's victim.
