On Going to the Meet. 1907.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and DRamatic News, November 30th, 1907," showing the Following Hunting Drawings by H. Jalland, called "On Going to the Meet."

   a- The man who pushes his horse too the meet is not unlikely to regret it before the end of the day.
   b- A short cut over a line of stiles is always tempting- but it's ricking a dirty coat.
   c- Coverts likely to be in the day's draw should be avoided. Foxes are very quick to take a hint.
   d- If you must go to the meet in your car -  leave it well clear of the crowd.
   e- It's a mistake to ride to where they usually make the first draw- it's always possible custom will not be adhered to.
   f- Keep on the near side of a led horse - never give him credit for being safe.
   g- Dont try to trot througha flock of sheep.
   9- 1st Sportsmen "Lets trot on, we're rather late."
       2nd do- "I'd rather not if you dont mind old chap- prefer being late, to arriving with my boots splashed !!"
