For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, August 10th, 1907," showing an Article with the Following Photographs for "Some Polo Players of the Season."

Reverse side shows the Following 7 drawings by Lionel Edwards  for "The Life of the Red Deer."

   1- Born in june, the calf of the Red Deer is spotted.  The male follows his dam until the Autumn, the female calf for another six months or so ; twin calves are unusual.
   2- Stags cast their antlers about March, the horns are full grown again in July and free of velvet by September, during their growth stags are shy amd keep much to the wood.
   3- With the advent of the "Rut" or pairing season, the necks of stags swell and their voices become hoarse.  They may be heard challenging any Autumn night.
   4- On the return of Winter, the stag may view with complacency the hunting of his late spouse, since there is peace for him until the following August.
   5- Although in dnager of becoming extinct in the West Country less than a century ago, the beautiful Red Deer are now very numerous, thanks to the ever growing populatiry of Stag Hunting.
   6- During August and September the Red Deer Stag is hunted in Devon and Somerset. The run usually ends on the sea shore, the instinct of hunted deer being to make for water.
   7- Many savage fights occur between the owner of a harem and the younger stags who wish to possess one.
