Our illustrations, with pictures of Miss Violet Vanbrugh, are of the grim one-act play. "Monsieur de Paris,"  in which Miss Vanburgh appears as the daughter of the executioner of Paris,  while the remaining scenes represent the coster story, "Down our Alley," adapted by Mr. Arthur Bouchier from Anatole France's play, "Crainquebille," and in which Mr. Bouchier appears as a coster who suffers extremely from a malicious arrest by a policeman.
