A Few "Donts" for the Opening Day. 1906.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, October 27th, 1906," showing the Following 7 Hunting Drawings by G. H. Jalland, called "A Few "Donts" for the Opening Day."

   1- Don't try whip cracking on your new horse until you know him better.
   2- Dont expect to find the well known gaps of last season in going order.
   3- Don't introduce yourself to the new M.F.H. when hounds are running.
   4- Dont come out in your new boots if they are likely to be uncomfortable.
   5- Dont expect too much of a fat horse you have just bought from a dealers stable.
   6- Dont take it for granted a bridge you frequently galloped over last season will carry you this.
   7- Dont put your trust in stirrup leathers more than two seasons old.
