View of the East Front, Holland House. 1838c.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "Architectural Remains of the Reigns of Elizabeth and James 1st."  By Charles James Richardson.
This is Plate III,  showing a Lithograph by Day and Haghe for a "View of the East Front, Holland House." together with the following details.

This is the side towards the garden ;  the windows on the right of the Plate, which appear irregular to the rest, belonged to the chapel,  which was approached through gilt iron gates from the Arcade.
Wood trellis-work is placed on the lower story of this front ;  the interior of the Arcade was stuccoed and painted in imitation of trellis-work to match.
The brick-work is a deep red ;  the pilasters and their entablatures, the window dressings, and the coping, are of stone.

Condition is Good, with a Tape repair to the bottom margin and frieze.
