                                      The Gatwick Steeplechase Meeting.
   1- At the first hurdle in the Horley Hurdle Race.
   2- Taking the first fence in the Leatherhead Steeplechase.- The race was declared void as neither of the four runners completed the course.
   3- Leading Mr. H. E. De Trafford's King's Cure back to the paddock after his refusal in the Leatherhead Steeplechase.
   4- (Reading from left to right0 :  Matt Hopper, the Jockey from Belgium, and a winner at the meeting :  T. Grundy, who trains for M. P. Mathieu :  M. P. Mathieu, the Belgian owner : and Parker, the trainer.
   5- Mr. A. Grisar's Sycamore (E. Piggott up), winner of the Horley Hurdle Race.

                                        The Wye Steeplechase Meeting.
   1- Taking the last fence in the Handicap Steeplechase.- Safe Drunk, the winner (on left), and John Redmond, second.
   2- At the first jump in the Handicap Hurdle Race.
   3- The Canterbury Steeplechase.- Butter Ball, who finished second, leading at the open ditch, followed by Les Ormes, the winner.
   4- Mr. W. Catling's Spearman (Dale up), the einner of the Ashford Hurdle Race.
   5- Mr. W. H. Dixon's Kingswood (Dale up), the winner of the Handicap Hurdle Race.
   6- Mr. W. H. Dixon's Safe Drunk (Dale up), the winner of the Handicap Steeplechase.
   7- An impromptu sale ring.- Mr. D. White, the auctioneer, standing on the steps of the grand stand, putting the winner of the Handicap Hurdle Race up for sale.
