For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Tatler, May 2nd, 1934,"  showing a Portrait Photograph of "The Comtesse De Pret-Roose and her Sons."

This at-home study of a well-known Meltonian, with her good-looking boys, Michael and John, was taken quite recently.  The Comtesse de Pret-Roose inherited a love of racing from her father,  the late Mr. Charles Garland, but prefers the jumping game.  Her 'chasers are in the charge of George Beeby, at Waltham, Melton Mowbray, and she takes a knowledgeable interest in their training.  The Comtesse's sister, Mrs. Arthur Smith-Bingham, is also an owner.  Mr. Smith-Bingham is well-known with the Warwickshire and in the world of Polo.
