For Sale is an Article with the Following Photographs removed from "Country Life," this article is written by Arthur Oswald, and is in three parts, which are for "Stonor Park, Oxfordshire,"  the Home of the Honourable Sherman Stonor.

                                         Part 1. October 6th, 1950.
1- The House and its wooded background seen from across the Valley.
2- 'The Mansion place Standithe Clyminge on an Hille" (Leland).  The approach from the south-west.
3- The Widespreading front with the Beech woods rising beyond.
4- Looking West down the Valley :  the Front and West Wing.
5- Stonor before the Georgian alterations. A 17th Century Painting.
6- The Elizabethen Entrance Doorway flanked by Emblematic Carvings.
7- Chiltern Landscape.  Looking over the roofs from the riding ground East of the House.
8- East Wing and Chapel.  The Brick Tower was built in 1416-17.
9- Looking back at the Housefrom the Gardenbehind.  
 10- The Back of the House as remodelled in 1758.
 
                                        Part II. October 13th, 1950.
1- House and Chapel from the Approach.
2- Entrance Hall (The Screens Passage of the Mediaeval Hall) with woodwork of 1759.
3- The Bridge and Main Staircase from the Music Gallery.
4- The Hall, Reduced to Half the Size of the Mediaeval Hall in 1834.
5- Chimney-Piece in the Hall. The Fireplace is Gothic Revial Work of 1759.
6- The Library with Barrel Roof running the full depth of the house.
7- Interior of the Chapel, as Redecorated 1796-1800. The glass is by Francis Eginton.
8- Gothic Chair, circa 1760, Painted Black and Gold.

4- Mrs. Stonor's Bedroom. The Bed, with Canopy 11ft. 4 in. High, retains its contemporary Needlework Hangings, Circa 1690.
5- A View of paris from the south Bank, Circa 1660.
6- John Evelynm the Diarist, at the age of 20, by Van Der Borcht,
7- Sir William Evelyn of St. Clere by Stubbsm signed and dated 1770.
8- The Young Nusucuans by J. M. molenaer, signed and dated 1629.

11- Carved Seat, Dutch. Circa 1700, from Wotton.
