The Clambeach Mystery. 1893.

For Sale is a Full Page Chromolithograph removed from "The Graphic, Christmas Number, 1893,"  showing the Following story by Reginald Cleaver called "The Clambeach Mystery." Showing how Coralie de Vere, with £1,000 a year of her own, being left at school in London by her parents during the holidays, decided to have a little change at the seaside, and went to Clambeach by herself, but could not leave as she had not enough money to pay her bills-and how it all ended.

1- "Who the deuce is she?"
     -Dale, of course, fell deadly in love.
2- The hatching of the plot.
3- Thhe plot thickens.
4- And grows thicker.
5- But fails utterly-
6- Dale never felt so bad before
7- Plot No. 2 :  "Look here," cried Dale, pulling out a sovereign:  "just you go after that lady and beg from her, and then I'll come up and knock you down and then you take yourself off, you see?"
8- The intelligent tramp rose to the occasion did it beautifullly, and went down like a ninepin as soon as Dale touched him.
9- The ultimate success of plot No. 2 :  instead of finding out who she was, he found himself proposing
10- The arrival of Miss O'Gorgon, head mistress of the school at which Miss Coralie de Vere was left.
11- And so they were married and lived happily ever after.
