In connection with the physical culture of girls, the game of Lacrosse is becoming increasingly popular.  Among the fastest of the matches yet played this season was that at Bedford on March 22nd between the Bedford Physical College and the Southern Ladies' Club.  After an exciting game in which the losers fought pluckily, the Southern Club won by 11 goals to 6.  Our large picture shows a thrilling moment in front of the Southern goal.  Note the extraordinary, though not ungraceful, attitudes of the players struggling for possession of the ball.  Our other two illustrationsof the rival clubs are interesting as showing the healthy type of girl, who devotes herself tooutdoor sports.
