Forward's Day at Rugby Football. 1934

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, December 14th, 1934," showing the Following 4 Photographs 

   a- A Fine Jump :  A line-out in the match between Old Cranleighans and Old Alleynians at Thames Ditton.  The Old Cranleighans won a hard fought match 11-9.  Our picture shows a splendid effort by an Old Alleynian, which many forwards might do well to copy.

   b- Break :  J. B. S. Fox, the Leicester scrum half, gets the ball back from a loose scrummage, and the Blackheath back row break quickly. Blackheath suffered their fourth successive defeat in this match, Leicester winning by 13-6.

   c- Feet :  A breakaway by the Richmond forwards in their match against Newport atRichmond.  Richmond just managed to pull the game off by 8-6.  The forwards in the picture havelet the ball get just to far out of control, thus spoiling a very dangerous movement.

   d- O.M.T.'s First Defeat at Home ;  A mix-up in the Harlequins match against the Old Merchant Taylors at Teddington. The Harlequins spoilt the O.M.T.'s home record by winning handsomely 10-0
