The Atlantic Flown in Record Time. 1936.

For Sale is the Front Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, November 6th, 1936," called "The Atlantic Flown in Record Time : Mr. James Mollison crosses from Newfoundland to England in 13 hrss.  17 mins."

Once again the Atlantic has been flown and the record for the West to East crossing broken.  Mr. J. Mollison, flying his Bellanca monoplane "The Dorothy," left Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, at 8.40 p.m. (London time) last Thursday and arrived at Croydon Airport at 9.57 a.m. the following morning.  By his feat (it is his third successful Atlantic flight) he has once again demonstrated the practicability of fast ocean mail flights.
