Schmeling Plays the Part of a Lamb. 1938. (Boxing).

For Sale are Two Pages removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, Frbruary 4th,1938," showing a Boxing Article together with the Following Photographs, called "Schmeling Plays the Part of a Lamb."

   1- Schmeling ducks under a left by Foord.
   2- Foord goes back on his heels wide open.
   3- Foord gets in below Schmeling's guard with a left.
   4- Foord misses with his right but Schmeling lands with his left.
   5- After it was all over.
   6- A dangerous moment for Foord forced back on the ropes, but Schmeling was content to pile up points and never tried for a quick finish. So a disappointing fight went the full distance.

The Reverse side of the second page shows the Following 6 Photographs from the fight where  "Braddock's Right Beats Farr."

   1. to 4 : See how Braddock pulls his right from away back to land an uppercut on Farr's Jaw. The timing of the blow is perfect and it was this fine science of the older American that earned him sufficient points to gain the verdict over Farr at Madison Square Gardens.
   5- Another right uppercut by Braddock that told a tale.
   6- Farr Brings up his left elbow too late to stop the blow and inadvertently catches Braddock on the jaw.
