The Football Association Cup Final at Wembley. Top picture shows the vast concourse of People gathered at Wembley from all over the country, while below is a picture of H.M. the Queen, who also presented the Cup, handing the medals to members of the winning Newcastle United team, who beat Arsenal by two goals to one.  In addition to the King and Queen, the Princess Royal and Lord harewood were present.  The match will be remembered if only for the hotly disputed former of the two Newcastle goals, but otherwise the tradition that a cup final is seldom productive of the highest football was duly preserved.
