The Season Starts : Professional Golfers at Roehampton. 1932.

For sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, April 16th, 1932, called "The Season Starts :  Professional Golfers at Roehampton," showing the Following Two Photographs with Text Below.

1. A Drive by L. T. Cotton, of Coulsdon Court, when he went round with J. Ockenden :  Cotton Qualified with 73 + 75 =148
2. Back to England after years on German Soil :  Percy Alliss, now the Beaconsfield Professional, Driving from the 1st Tee.

The Competition for the Roehampton Cup and £200 really marked the opening of the season in "big"  golf,  and seventy-four of the leading professionals of the country took part.  A. Perry, of Leatherhead, headed the qualifying scores with 67 + 72=139, being immediately followed by S. Easterbrook, T. H. Cotton, and A. J. Lacey.  Percy Alliss, shown in our lower picture, has now quitted the Wannsee for Beaconsfield, and will, no doubt, be a welcome asset in certain national events from which his foreign residence had previously barred him.  

Condition is Very Good.
