Our Captious Critic, on "I Lived With You." at "The Prince of Wales Theatre. 1932.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, April 16th, 1932," called "Our Captious Critic," showing a Review with Illustrations Drawn by Hynes, for "I Lived With You." at the Prince of Wales's Theatre.

Reverse side is called "Perfecting The Flying Start :  Cinder Track Experiments." showing the Following Two Photographs.

   a- Putting the competitors in the slips :  The bicycles are harnessed by the saddle to the motor-Car and all move off together.

   b- Ready to be slipped :  When Speed has been gathered, the Bicycles are released all together by means of a lever on the car.

The racing machines are held in slips, like greyhounds, in the latest device for obtaining the perfect start on cinder tracks.  After being harnessed to a Car, the racers are pushed off and slowly gather speed and pay out their leads to the full extent. Then when the start is reached the slipper, by means of a lever on the car, releases the Motor-bicycles and they are thus all off together and it is no one's fault but their own if they are left. Our pictures show this method, which was worked out by the famour rider, Gus Kuhn, being put to the test on the track at Stamford Bridge.
