Mothers and Daughters : Family Foursomes at Ranelagh. (Golf) 1932..

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, April 9th, 1932," called "Mothers and Daughters :  Family Foursomes at Ranelagh," showing the Following Six Golfing Photographs.

   1- Mrs. Croneen in a bad lie near the water :  Mrs.and Miss Croneen, of Rochester and Cobham (88-24), only came half a stroke behind the Roehampton Winners.
   2- A Family Conference :  Mrs. I. M. B. Stuart and Mrs. Miller (Mid-Surrey) who finished Fourth.
   3- A Frinton Pair :  Miss Diana Plumpton in Play with her Mother.
   4- The First Tee :  Miss Rabbidge Tees up the ball for her Mother.
   5- Celebrated Daughters at Ranelagh :  Mrs. Plumpton and Miss Diana Plumpton with Miss Molly Gourlay and Mrs. Gourlay.
   6- The Winning Pair from Roehampton :  Miss Marjorie White Tees up for her Mother, Mrs. White,  who finished  80-16.5=63.5 

The fathers and sons having set the example of playing golf family foursomes, the mothers and daughters followed on with the good work this week at Ranelagh, and held their first tournament by stroke play.  The winners were Mrs. White, aged fifty-six, and Miss Marjorie White, who is just half that number of years.  With an allowance of 16.5 strokes they returned a net score of 63.5, bogey being 66.  Hard on them came Mrs. and Miss Croneen with 64.  Then came Mrs. Preston and Mrs. Graham Jones with 67.  The Gourlay pair scored 84-13=71,  and the Plumpton partnership, thanks to visiting the lake and the ornamental gardens, took 93-18=75.  One partnership confessed to an aggregate age of 114 years.
