For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, June 4th, 1932," showing an Article with the Following Two Photographs, called "The Riddle of the British  Golf Championship. : Gene Sarazen the Danger."

   1- Abe Mitchell Breaks a Record :  Receiving his Trophy from Mrs. Lewis at Long Ashton, Bristol.
   2- Summer weather at Muirfield :  Restoring a Refreshment Tent to its former condition after the wind had blown it down during the Amateur Open Golf Championship.

    1- A Semi-finalist beaten by de Forest :  L. Munn (Cinque Ports).  Portrait.
    2- A Semi-finalist beaten by Fidian :  E. A. McRuvie  (Leven).  Portrait.
    3- The Holder with his American rival :  Eric Martin Smith and Leonard Martin.  Martin (Taller Player) won at the Eighteenth.
    4- The New Champion,  With his Trophy :  John de Forest, who beat Fiddian by 3 and 1 in the final.
    5- At the 17th in the Semi-final :  John de Forest who plays very slowly, studies the line of his Putt when opposing L. O. Munn.
    6- Watching the Measurement of the Putts on the 17th Green :  John de Forest during his 36 Holes Final against Eric Fiddian.

It was a case of youth beating youth when the 25-years-old John de Forest, the son of the millionaire financier, Baron de Forest,overcame the 22-year-old Eric Fiddian, the English Close champion, in the final of the Open amateur championship at Muirfield last Saturday.  De Forest, who was runner-up last year in the event, has recenntly devoted himself almost exclusively to perfecting his play, even travelling to America to study the methods of the players in the States.  He is said to owe a great improvement in his swing to watching quite recently a slow-motion golf film.  Earlier in the week the five American entrants were eliminated.
