All the illustrations refer to the Medway Barge Race of the 29th inst., except that of the British Oak, which is seen competing at the Thames Barge Sailing of the previous Tuesday, when this boat gained second prize for coasting barges. At both these meetings Giralda finished first and Verona second in the principal races, and in both cases a protest was lodges against the Giralda.  The protest was successful in the Medway instance, while decision was reserved in the Thames race.
