This Page shows a Colour Caricature drawn by Sallon of "MIKE HAWTHORN," first Englishman since Richard Seaman to be signed as a 'works" driver for a Continental marque, achieved this distinction in less than two seasons' motor racing when he first drove for Ferrari at the age of 23.  This year an unlucky season with B.R.M. has not discouraged Mike whose successes are countless and who, with Segrave, Seaman, Moss and Collins makes up that highly exclusive band of British drivers to win a major Grand Prix.
