4- Hicks Pasha, Late Colonel in the Indian Army. Commander-in-Chief of the Soudan Field Force.
5- Mr. Edmond O'Donovan, Correspondent of the Daily News.
6- Consul Moncrieff.- Killed at Toka, near Suakim, Red Sea, Nov 6th.
7- Mr. Edward Baldwin Evans. - Interpreter during the Trial of Arabi at Cairo, and Head of the Intelligence Department under Hicks Pasha.
8- Mr. Frank Vizetelly. - The Artist who has supplied "The Graphic" with some of the Sketches of the Soudan Expedition.
