a- Miss Ellaline Terriss, as the Duc de Richelieu, and Miss Elizabeth Firth, as Diane de Noailles, his Wife. b- The duel between the Chevalier de Martignon (Mr. Hayden Coffin) and the Duc de Richelieu (Miss Ellaline Terriss), which terminates in the latter's favour. c- Mr. Courtice Pounds, as the Abbe de la Touche, and the fencing pupils. d- The Duchesse de Bourgoyne (Miss Louie Pounds), who has been at first indignant at the Duc de Richelieu's midnight surprise, screens the offender when the cries for help have brought the guards for his arrest. e- Miss Coralie Blythe, as Cesarine de Noce, in love with both Martignon and Richelieu. f- Miss Elizabeth Firth, as the defiant wife of the Duc de Richelieu.
