The Balkan Exhibition at Earl's Court brings vividly before us types of people who inhabit what has well been called the cockpit of Europe. An extraordinary diversity of types inhabit the Balkans. At Earl's Court you will see among the dancers men as blue-eyed as Scandinavians and as swarthy as some people in India, the gipsy element being very marked. Mr. Matania has placed in the foreground some of the women, who have almost a Circassian type of beauty.
