For Sale are two Pages taken from "The Sphere, Coronation Number, for Edward VII., and Queen Alexandra, 1902," showing an Article for "The Accession of King Edward," on both sides of the first page, with the following Colour Lithograph on the other Page, being talked about below.

The First Picture shows the King Signing the Proclamation, "requiring all persons being in office of authority at the decease of the late Queen to proceed in the execution of their respective offices."  This was done at his first Council held at St. James's Palace on January 23rd. 1901.  The Second picture illustrates the proclamation of His Majesty in the quadrangle at St. James;s Palace on the morning of January 24th.  The design is surmounted by the herald's trumpet and banner.  The Great Seal of England used by Queen Victoria occupies the right-hand bottom corner, while opposite it is a miniature view of St. James's Palace.
