After the Cottesmore Ball, and a Quorn Tryst. 1934.

Hunting appointments of the Quorn and the Cottesmore attracted the persons pictured here.  Major Metcalfe was hunting with the Quorn when they met at Ashby Folville, and Sir Gerald Hanson, the Hon. Mrs. Edward Greenall and son, and Miss Wilson played onlookers' parts. The Ashby Folville day was very much a red-letter one.  There were two good hunts in the morning, but the star turn was 1 hour and 50 minutes from Ashby Pastures, during which hounds covered some eighteen miles of country, with a six-mile point.  The Cottesmore field at Leesthorpe Cross Roads was considerably augmented by HUnt Ball guests, this event having taken place the previous night at Colonel and the Hon. Henry Allsopp, Lord Hindlip's brother, is in the Coldstream Guards.  Lady Helena Fitzwilliam is Lord and Lady Fitzwilliam's onlu unmarried daughter.
