Some twenty-four years ago the Little Aston Golf Club was formed by a few members of the Streetley Golf Club, and Mr. Colin Milligan was made the first captain.  The course itself is an excellent test of golf and is not only one of the best but also one of the prettiest courses in the Midlands.  The membership is not a large one-only some 150- but it is full of well-known people in Birmingham and District.  Mr. Wilfred Bigwood, among his many activities, finds time to carry out the duties of hon. sec., and the club is very fortunate in having his services.  Martin J. Lewis-known to all as "Mark" -has been the professional since the club started and is a very popular man in Midland golf.
