A Fishing Episode. 1903.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, May 30th, 1903," showing Four Quarter Page Photographs with the Following Poetry below each one.

1- Clarinda would go fishing-
    Who knew not wing from hackle- 
    And so departed secrtely
    With brother bobbie's tackle.

2- That day the fish were feeding well
    Clarinda saw a rise,
    She hooked and tried to land a trout, 
    All eager for the prize.

3- Small wonder that the fish escaped-
    Clarinda's struck the fin, 
    But while the fish was getting off,
    Clarinda tumbled in.

4- Still, when a maid is helpless, 
    A man is oft around,
    And thus the fair Clarinda
    Was soon on firmer ground.
